| Hello Kids, Yes I'm still alive... I've been busy since the last time I updated (Jan 29th! Yeow!), so let me bring y'all up to speed. I've been working at NAD (yall should know what that is, or shame on you!) since February as a Staff Accountant. Am loving every moment here, it's the perfect situation for me. A job where I can apply my college education (what college education? ), in a deaf friendly environment, and in an excellent location, Silver Spring. Can't complain here at all! A couple weekends ago, was proud to be a groomsman in Oscar and Tamara Ocuto's wedding! It was at the Key Bridge Marriott overlooking Georgetown, and what a perfect setting for such a beautiful couple! They both looked sharp and stunning, not surprising at all! It was a blast and wonderful seeing many old faces. <---- Oscar and Tamara with their priest on the right.
<--- Kickin' ass in that suit, ain't I?
Also been very busy with softball, playing for the DC Senators! Last weekend we placed 4th at ESAD Regionals, which we are pleased with but we know we could have done much better. The best part was beating Rochester 14-2. We so kicked their ass and they knew it. I have some friends on that team and boy, ever since January they talked non-stop shit, and we beat them when it counted. Suck on this, beeyotches! <---- Trying hard to be Manny Ramirez Jr.
My parents are coming in town to visit me for 10 days next week, can't wait to see them again! I haven't seen my Mom since Christmas (too long! ), my dad came to visit in March, so it wasn't too long ago. We will be touring DC, going to Nats baseball games as well! Also coming up this summer is NSAD in Dayton, OH on the 2nd weekend of August. We are going to prove alot of teams wrong and play hard and with all our hearts. Gonna surprise some teams! Goooo Senators! Then on September 1st, I will be making my first journey to Hicktown, USA (Jacksonville, IL) for the wedding of Edward J. Hoyt III and Autumn J. Burroughs. I am the best man, so I have a lot to prepare for their wedding. It's going to be tons of fun! Knowing Ed, there's going to probably be 25 kegs at the reception. "Keg stands, anyone?!"
See above? That's my new girl, Tanya... (ugly hat tho...) Behave boys & girls... remember someone's always watching -CT ~RUNTELDAT~
| Hello boys & girls, This post is for a wonderful man, someone who I had the honor of being a friend with. Just wish I could have gotten to spend more time with him. He will be forever remembered.... BROTHER REID J. HUNT ~Not even in Death shall you part from the Blue Brotherhood~ A wonderful life taken away from us too soon, too fast. Lets do our part by living life to its fullest, he would have wanted us to do that. REST IN PEACE.... ~runteldat -CT | | |
| Hello boys & girls,
First off, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Years! Hope your celebration was anywhere from mellow to wild, as long as you enjoyed it.
The actual purpose of this blog is to talk about the much hyped new TV show on FX Networks....
dirt
I've been seeing a lot of quick teases, commercials etc hyping this new show starring Courteney Cox. I was kind of skeptical at first because this is Monica, the neurotic-OCD wife of Chandler... But after watching this, I am glad to say that Courteney's character Lucy Spiller bears no semblance at all to Monica. YAY! If you all get a chance to check it out next Tuesday at 10pm on FX channel, DO IT! Lucy is a coldhearted bitch and so much fun to watch, Ian Hart as Don Konkey is a schizophrenic paparazzi photographer who has amazing connections and when he trips out on one of his schizophrenic spells, it's just Hilarious! I wont say more... This show will certainly tide me over until my regulars come back on... (Grey's Anatomy, Top Chef, Jericho etc...) Till next time kids.... RUNTELDAT ~CT
| Hello boys & girls...
Yes I'm still alive. Some bitchy, whiny little a**hole demanded I update my Xanga. So here I am... Dont worry Tate, I still love you.
I dont know where to start, so I guess I'll start with what's on everyone's mind right now. Yup, THE protest. I will be honest here, I DO want ikj and jkf to get the hell outta dodge asafp! I know some people have been asking me why I haven't been actively participating in the protest. I LOVE GALLAUDET and it just sickens me to the core seeing the campus in chaos like that. That is not the way Gallaudet should be, its supposed to be peaceful and serene. I cannot stand there and watch the events unfold, it just makes me too sad, I cant stand it. So everytime I go on campus to coach baseball, I avoid the front gate. If you have a problem with that, go fuck yourself. I'm following my feelings.
Now, aside from the drama on Kendall Green... lets talk about positive things!
I moved into a new apartment with two lovely ladies, Marcy Fox and Rebecca Teslow, on Pennsylvania Avenue in Southeast DC. Its a nice apartment, has everything in it. It is definitely a different experience living with two women, whereas I used to live with a bear of a man, Ed. But it's been fun, and I'm enjoying myself so far. The best part is I'm alot closer to cool spots like the Eastern Market, PourHouse, the Washington Mall, et cetera.
Ive been playing fall softball for the Maryland Eagles. It has been an interesting experience because not only of the better quality of players, but I also am learning alot from them, how to position myself better in the field, how to hit better. I"ve been having fun too, just wonder which team I'll be playing on next year.
I dont know what else to say, so I'm gonna wrap this up... See you out there kids!

| Hello,
This is a post in memoriam of Mr. Kirby Puckett who died yesterday. He
was the most revered Minnestoa Twin ever. I had the honor of seeing him
play in the 1991 World Series and seeing him singlehandely winning the
Series for the Twins. I have met him many times in person and shook his
hand as well. In 2001 my family and I went to Cooperstown, NY to see
him get inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame which was a very
special moment and one that will stay in my heart forever. He was my
baseball idol, the reason I grew up to love baseball...
May he rest in peace....
KIRBY PUCKETT

Long live King Puck...
